Back Pains Linger Longer

Research shows lower back pain takes longer to go away than people think, with four in 10 sufferers taking more than a year to recover.

The study of 973 patients by the George Institute for International Health found event with treatment only half recovered in the first two months. On in five people in Australia suffer back pain at any time. And the cost of the health condition hurts too – up to $1billion a year.
